When I first set out to be a newborn and baby photographer - driven by my absolute adoration of tiny humans - I felt and urgency to buy all the props, toys, scarves, bonnets, baskets, backdrops, booties......ahhhhggg you get the picture.
Yet as I started photographing my tiny clients, nine times out of ten, parents would ask for natural, clean images just focusing on baby. On baby's little face, baby's chubby cheeks, baby's tiny toes, baby's fluffy rolls. They simply didn't want anything in the shot that would distract from baby's loveliness. And I quickly understood why.
It did not take long for me to fall in love with this style as well. I immediately saw the beauty of building a connection with little baby, instead of tying bonnets, smoothing out blankets and realigning baskets.
I would love to hear what you think and like!
